Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features some additional findings coming from the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute (WCRI)’s previously released Medical Price Index for Workers’ Compensation (MPI-WC). Focusing on Indiana, the study shows that prices for non-hospital services in the state in 2010 were the third highest of the 25 study states, more than 50 percent higher than the typical prices paid in study states with fee schedule regulation.
