WESTERVILLE, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Progressive Medical announced recently that Tron Emptage, chief clinical and compliance officer, will discuss the increasing role medical foods play in workers’ compensation at the 2011 National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference & Expo.
During a session at 3 p.m. Nov. 9 titled “Medical Foods: What They Are, What They Cost and What You Can Do,” Emptage will address the rising cost of medical foods and the surrounding concern over the lack of conclusive clinical evidence validating their effectiveness.
