Today’s edition of WorkCompRecap starts off the week featuring our People on the Move section, with an announcement from Illinois that Governor Pat Quinn recently appointed 29 arbitrators in Illinois’ Workers’ Comp system. Under the recently passed changes to the Comp system, all newly-appointed arbitrators must be attorneys, but five sitting arbitrators were reappointed based on their experience and performance, as allowed under the new law. Also in the news is the New York Workers’ Comp Board, which announced that it has named the members of its Medical Advisory Committee (MAC).
