WorkCompRecap: Leaner and…?

Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features an interesting piece of news coming from California’s State Fund, as they recently announced their plans for geographic restructuring and workforce reductions in the interest of increasing efficiency and decreasing SCIF’s footprint. According to SCIF, reductions will take place areas where work has been “greatly reduced or has disappeared over time” as their business processes have evolved. Currently SCIF is consolidating employees geographically, and the planned workforce reduction is said to decrease SCIF’s workforce by 25% in the 2nd quarter of 2012.
