Santa Rosa, California — Northern Claims Management , (NCM), (www.norcm.com) a California workers compensation claims management company, through its relationship with Comprehensive Cost Solutions (2CS), launched its new ProviderLink web portal offering capabilities for providers to access critical claims processes and information.
NCM is launching ProviderLink with a select group of providers in California, allowing enhancements to allow providers to access medical claims processing information. ProviderLink contains a number of web-enabled capabilities that replace processes that have traditionally been done requiring human intervention. These capabilities include on-line treatment authorization requests, payment status inquiry management, EOR retrieval and facilitation of EFT payments. In addition, ProviderLink also extends some of the treatment and fee schedule information directly to the medical providers for the purposes of allowing subscribing providers and payers to eliminate the traditional bill review process altogether.

That being said, ProviderLink offers these select providers unique capabilities to enhance their ability to get and submit information essential to the claims management process.
