(TOWSON, Md.) — The Board of Directors of IWIF Workers’ Compensation Insurance welcomes two new members, Mr. Ivory Tucker, a retired corporate officer of Northrop Grumman, and Mr. Wayne R. Gioioso, Sr., a real estate investor and property developer. Their appointments are effective immediately.
Mr. Tucker holds a law degree from Howard University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Morgan State. He is replacing board member Mr. Frank Boston, who passed away in May 2011.
Mr. Gioioso is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. His prior work experience includes being an insurance claims adjuster with Allstate Insurance Company. He replaces Ms. Patricia McHugh Lambert, who served in various capacities while on the IWIF board, including chairman.
IWIF is headed by a nine-member board appointed by the governor for a maximum of two, five-year terms.
Established in 1914, IWIF is the leading writer of workers’ compensation insurance in Maryland. IWIF is a selfsupporting insurance company that operates solely from premium and investment income.
