Paradigm Management Services Becomes Largest Contributor to Kids’ Chance

August 8, 2011 - WorkCompWire

WALNUT CREEK, CA – Paradigm Management Services, the nation’s leading provider of catastrophic medical management services, today announced a partnership with Kids’ Chance of America, Inc., to help the nonprofit organization raise funds and increase the number of scholarship recipients. By contributing a portion of their annual revenue, Paradigm becomes the organization’s largest corporate contributor for 2011.

Since its founding in 1991, Paradigm’s Systematic Care Management SM model has placed each injured worker at the center of a comprehensive team intent on helping him or her achieve a maximum recovery. Now, with the assistance of Kids’ Chance, Paradigm will be able to go one step further and help the injured worker’s children recover from the devastating loss, as well.

“The impact of a catastrophic workplace injury to an employee and his or her family can be devastating,” said James Hudak, Chief Executive Officer, “but we can’t allow it to compromise a child’s future. Not only does our partnership allow us to financially support Kids’ Chance in this effort, but we may also further assist those we serve by referring their children for scholarships. Paradigm is excited that education can now take its place beside our leading medical and financial outcomes.”

Kids’ Chance is working to establish and grow member organizations in each state, so that every child of a seriously injured worker has access to higher education. And though member organizations have awarded more than 2,000 scholarships and distributed more than $5,000,000 in funds to workers’
families, Kids’ Chance remains unknown to many in need of financial assistance.

“From the beginning, it was clear that the goals of our organizations were perfectly aligned,” said S. Woods Bennett, Esq., Kids’ Chance President. “And since we share the same values, partnering in other areas to promote the Kids’ Chance mission and increase the number of applicants for our scholarships was a natural extension of the fundraising. We are very grateful for Paradigm’s support in all areas.”
