NFIB and EMPLOYERS® Launch Discounted Workers’ Compensation Program in Montana

June 9, 2011 - WorkCompWire

RENO, Nev.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) today announced it has extended discounted workers’ compensation coverage benefits to its small business members in Montana through EMPLOYERS®, America’s small business insurance specialist®. NFIB Montana members are now eligible to receive a 5 percent discount on workers’ compensation insurance policies with EMPLOYERS.

With the Montana launch, EMPLOYERS now offers NFIB members discounted workers’ compensation coverage in 11 states with plans to expand the program to additional states throughout the year. The NFIB named EMPLOYERS as an additional provider of choice in Montana due to the carrier’s focus and expertise as a specialty writer of workers’ compensation insurance for small businesses.

“We are pleased to offer our members in Montana access to discounted workers’ compensation insurance and services from EMPLOYERS, which are tailored to the needs of small businesses,” said Mark Garzone, senior vice president of marketing, NFIB. “EMPLOYERS has a proven track record of providing cost-effective workers’ compensation services to small businesses across the country, and we are confident our current and future small business members will benefit from this relationship.”

“Just like the NFIB, EMPLOYERS is focused on meeting the unique needs of America’s small businesses,” said David Quezada, senior vice president, general manager of strategic partnerships and alliances, EMPLOYERS. “We are excited to join with the NFIB to expand our discounted workers’ compensation program to Montana, offering its members there a great value proposition and a comprehensive service package at a discounted price.”
