KING OF PRUSSIA, PA. – The board of advisors for Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs has named Shelley Boyce as its chair. Boyce, who is the founder and CEO of King of Prussia-based MedRisk, Inc., joined the board in 2009.
Boyce holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, one of the largest centers of entrepreneurial studies in the world. She founded MedRisk in 1994 and has since grown the business into the nation’s leading managed care company specializing in the physical rehabilitation of injured workers.
Active in supporting other entrepreneurs, Boyce also serves on the University of Virginia’s Jefferson Scholars Selection Committee and on the board of directors of the Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia. She is also a member of the advisory board for the University of Virginia School of Nursing.
