SUNZ Insurance Sweeps Client Savings Across U.S.

April 6, 2011 - WorkCompWire

SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. /PRNewswire/ — After six years of success, SUNZ Insurance is expanding its flexible workers compensation insurance solutions into eight states by offering clients a large deductible option. These large deductible programs are now available in Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Tennessee, and Texas as of March 1, 2011.

Scott Robertson, President of SUNZ Insurance said, “The large deductible program has been extremely successful in the state of Florida; since our founding, we have been focused on providing our clients with the flexibility and support to create an insurance policy that is tailored to their needs. Combined with our exceptional claims management and partnership with Corvel, the large deductible program is a great tool to create significant savings for our clients.”

Large deductible programs allow employers to pay lower premium costs, while sharing in part of the risk. While the insurance premium is much lower than typical coverage costs, the employer can reap even greater rewards by benefiting from a good claims history.

SUNZ provides workers compensation tailored specifically for professional employer organizations (PEOs), staffing companies and large companies. Their continued growth is through a consultative approach for every client they work with and policy they underwrite. With a combined 120 years of experience in the industry, SUNZ focuses on claims management and return to work programs to help employers improve the performance of their workers compensation program.
