Patriot National CIO/CTO Judith L. Haddad to Speak at TowerGroup/CEB Technology Conference

April 10, 2011 - WorkCompWire

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. /PRNewswire/ — Judith Haddad, Chief Information and Technology Officer of Patriot National Insurance Group will lead a breakout session entitled Tablet Technology in Insurance: Consumer Fad or Business Tool? at the 2011 TowerGroup/CEB Annual Financial Services Strategy & Technology Conference. The conference theme is Sustainable Innovation in Financial Services and is being held in Boston from April 13th to 15th.

“Tablet technology holds great promise for insurance companies. Some insurers have seen the immediate possibilities, but others are hanging back waiting for an obvious path to open up,” said Ms. Haddad. “CIO’s and CTO’s hold the unique and sometimes challenging role of being champions of new technology. However, the fundamental question is always: What is the business value?”

Ms. Haddad will lead the session attendees on the journey that Patriot National Insurance Group took in developing iPad functionality, and how she was able to match leading technology with her company’s business objectives.

Prior to joining Patriot National Insurance Group in 2008, Ms. Haddad was Vice President of Information Technology for NYMAGIC. Previously she held executive positions at NCCI Holdings and Commercial Union. Ms. Haddad holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clark University. She attended graduate school at Boston University and obtained an MBA from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University.
