TULSA, Okla. & SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Summit Administration Services, Inc., a Scottsdale, Arizona based Third Party Administrator (TPA) of employer-sponsored benefit plans, has implemented Web-based Data Analysis and Reporting solutions from Benefit Informatics.
Summit is utilizing Benefit Informatics’ proprietary Data Analysis and Reporting Software as a Service (SaaS) technology to enhance access to claims and utilization data. Summit Administration Services can use the software application to prepare standard reporting packages or create custom filters to drill-down to specific plan details, producing specialized ad hoc reports and analysis to identify cost drivers.
“We chose to implement Benefit Informatics because of their deep understanding of self-funded employer health plans and the need to be able to access data quickly and efficiently,” said Alfred Gregory, President & CEO of Summit Administration Services. “Their software solution gives us, our customers and broker/consultants enhanced access to plan information that is vital in identifying and controlling costs.”
Benefit Informatics integrates data from multiple sources, including health plans, pharmacy/prescription and member-specific information into one consolidated data warehouse. This provides Summit and its customers with a comprehensive view of total costs. With this consolidated data, employers and plan sponsors can make informed decisions about plan design modifications, as well as forecast future costs.
“We are pleased to provide Summit Administration Services with our proven Data Analysis and Reporting solutions,” said Philip Kurtz, President of Benefit Informatics. “We see our relationship with Summit as a partnership to assist in offering world-class benefits administration services to its customers.”
