Montana Governor Announces Appointments to State Comp Insurance Board

(HELENA) – Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer today announced appointments to various boards and councils:

State Compensation Insurance Fund Board

  • Elizabeth Best, Great Falls (named Chair). Qualification: public member. Best is an attorney in private practice. She earned her J.D. degree from the University of Montana and has served as a trustee for the Centerville School Board. Best previously served on the Board of Labor Appeals.
  • Joe Brenneman, Kalispell. Qualification: private enterprise/policy holder. Brenneman served as a county commissioner for Flathead County and owns and operates a dairy. He received a degree in education from Goshen College, has served on the board of Cenex Harvest States and is active in Rotary.
  • Wayne Dykstra, Billings. Qualification: private enterprise/policy holder. Dykstra is the president CEO of Liquid Engineering Corporation, an engineering and marine construction company. He’s been certified as a paramedic, and held an Arizona teaching certificate in emergency medicine.
