Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the 2010 update of the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI)’s report on Temporary Total Disability (TTD) Indemnity Benefit Durations.
Highlights from the report include the finding that “after a period of moderation, NCCI is now seeing an increase in the average duration of payments for Temporary Total Disability indemnity benefits. This increase coincides with the onset of the recession in late 2007.” The report also provides additional details for selected states, and additional state level info in the appendices.
