Dawn Phillips Named as MSC Vice President, Business Development for Catastrophic & Home Health Services

February 2, 2011 - WorkCompWire

MSC announced today that Dawn Phillips has been named Vice President of Business Development for its Catastrophic & Home Health Services division. Phillips brings more than 20 years of risk management and managed care experience to the newly created position.

In her new role, Dawn will work with managed care and catastrophic claims leaders in the workers’ compensation community to provide integrated solutions designed to meet their specific clinical and managed care program goals. This includes the development and measurement of new clinical programs as well as the refinement of MSC’s current care management initiatives.

“Dawn possesses a unique blend of sales leadership and managed care account management that will greatly benefit our customers, and further supports our clinical focus,” said Joe Delaney, President and CEO of MSC. “In partnership with customers, she will identify MSC products and services that will positively affect outcomes, as well as help develop new MSC programs to address the industry’s increasing need for data-driven clinical solutions.”

Prior to joining MSC, Phillips was Vice President at Ingenix, a global leader in health information and technology services. She also worked at Aon Risk Services for 13 years in various capacities including Regional Vice President, Senior Vice President and Managing Director. Phillips began her managed care career with American International Group (AIG) in national sales for managed care.
