A.I.M. Mutual Insurance Companies Select Tropics Software to Support Workers’ Compensation Program

February 20, 2011 - WorkCompWire

Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) – A.I.M. Mutual Insurance Companies (A.I.M. Mutual), sponsored by Associated Industries of Massachusetts, and Tropics Software Technologies (TST), a national software company specializing in workers’ compensation systems, announced today that A.I.M. Mutual has selected Tropics as an enterprise partner to provide its new integrated policy, billing and claims administration system. In addition to handling the policy issuance, policy administration, billing administration and claims administration software functions, Tropics will be utilized by A.I.M. Mutual to offer its broker partners enhanced on-line inquiry functionality, web-based application submission and integrated document management capabilities.

“During the past year, we analyzed the features and functionality of numerous software vendors servicing the workers’ compensation industry. During this thorough due diligence period, including detailed interviews and site visits with existing clients and brokers, it became clear to us that Tropics Software Technologies had the most comprehensive system, along with a track record for consistently deploying their solution in a manner that resulted in satisfied customers,” said Ray Pata, A.I.M. Mutual’s Manager of Technology and Systems. “The completeness of the core policy, billing and claims systems, coupled with the user-friendly nature of Tropics’ web portals, will help A.I.M. Mutual continue to provide first-class service to our brokers and policyholders.”

“We are very excited to have been selected by A.I.M. Mutual after such an extensive vendor selection process,” said Mike Mobar, President and CEO of Tropics Software Technologies. “We believe that TST’s 16 years of experience in providing processing efficiencies to the workers’ compensation industry through modern technology will prove to be very beneficial to A.I.M. Mutual.”
