Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features some interesting news from U.S. Physical Therapy, which has announced a new Workers’ Compensation and disability initiative called Fit2WRK. Via the program, U.S. Physical Therapy has established a number of network and employer direct agreements, seeking to reduce lost time and employer costs from injury, as well as expedite the return-to-work process.
This year U.S. Physical Therapy intends to continue to establish national contracts with networks, employers, third party administrators and case managers through Fit2WRK. Touting their geographical footprint (they operate 392 clinics in 42 states), U.S. Physical therapy seems optimistic that they’ll be able to increase their base in the Work Comp and disability markets.
