Comorbid Conditions and Work Comp Claims……..

Several weeks ago I posed a rhetorical question regarding the relationship between diabetes and workers’ compensation claims, driven primarily by my recent experience at a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) fundraiser.  Quite a few of you clicked through to the Diabetes at Work website to learn more.  Today, a study released by Coventry Workers’ Comp Services (CWCS), identifies the five most common comorbidities affecting workers’ compensation claims and documents the impact they can have on occupational injuries and illnesses.
