Workers’ Compensation Insurance Distribution Channels are Changing Too!

Today’s edition of WorkCompRecap has a couple of stories about some of the changes and technology driven innovations on the “front end” of the workers’ compensation insurance distribution process. 
 
This is another great example of how insurers can use 3rd party technology solutions and specialized commercial packages to keep up with a rapidly changing marketplace.  This trend seems to be picking up steam both on the underwriting, marketing and distribution side, as well as in claims.  As the pace of change accelerates, look for more direct on-line distribution channels and other technology solutions that expedite the underwriting process, especially for small business.
