The subject line today is a bit misleading for those of you expecting a steamy, sordid or wretched tale from the Big Apple. Quite the contrary. The Editor and several WorkCompWire staff members spent the evening at the Gershwin Theatre taking in one of Broadway’s most popular productions, Wicked. A wonderful way to start the Thanksgiving week and a “must see” for anyone that enjoys the theatre or the Wizard of Oz.
Today’s version of WorkCompRecap just happens to come to you from a midtown Manhattan hotel surrounded by Notre Dame Fighting Irish faithful still celebrating their victory over Army last night. The excitement and energy in this group is palpable, heightened somewhat by the Starbucks coffee served in the lobby, which helped me too!
Our Weekly Summary version of WorkCompRecap is designed to be a quick reminder of the Top Stories for the past week. You can read the full version of the most current news at WorkCompWire.com . The previous editions of the Editor’s Message can be viewed by visiting the Editor’s Forum.
This weeks schedule for WorkCompRecap will be abbreviated due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will only publish 1 day this coming week, probably late Tuesday or Wednesday. Unless of course there is “breaking news,” in which case we will bring it to you as soon as it is published and I can find a WIFI connection.
We look forward to becoming your trusted source for timely news and information related to all facets of the Workers’ Compensation industry.
Have a good week.
