Day Two from Las Vegas!
WorkCompRecap is once again publishing today from the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference & Expo which is produced by Risk & Insurance® magazine and LRP Publications, Inc. As usual, they done a great job with the show!
Attendance this year appears to be strong and activity in the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday was bustling. Today might be a different story after a long night of great receptions, entertaining parties, and cash depleting visits to the casinos. There will be lots of tired feet and red eyes on the floor today!
Today’s Top Stories have an interesting theme; INTEGRATION.
We are starting to once again see some innovative programs emerge that address the overlap in workers’ compensation and group benefits, on both the medical and disability side. These organizations deserve credit for their progressive efforts, and I would encourage all of you to read about their programs on WorkCompWire.com today.
Positive feedback continues to roll in regarding our new launch of WorkCompWire. I was encouraged by the many acknowledgements of our new service in the Exhibit Hall yesterday. We will work at keeping our news and information timely and relevant as we build our base of regular readers. Please continue to forward our communications to your industry colleagues.
We look forward to becoming your trusted source for timely news and information related to all facets of the Workers’ Compensation industry.
