RENO, Nev., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has officially named EMPLOYERS®, America’s small business insurance specialist®, its workers’ compensation insurance provider of choice for more than 18,000 Florida members. NFIB selected EMPLOYERS because of its strong presence in Florida, and its focus and expertise as a specialty writer of workers’ compensation insurance for small businesses.
As part of the agreement, qualifying NFIB Florida members are eligible to receive a five percent flat dividend* on workers’ compensation insurance policies with EMPLOYERS. Some NFIB members insured by EMPLOYERS may be eligible for an additional flat dividend of up to 25 percent based on policy size and loss experience, among other factors. Members can access this valuable benefit through EMPLOYERS appointed agencies.
“NFIB/Florida is delighted to provide our members access to discounted workers’ compensation policies and value-added services tailored to the needs of Florida’s small businesses through our agreement with EMPLOYERS,” said Bill Herrle, state director, NFIB/Florida. “EMPLOYERS has a proven track record of providing cost-effective workers’ compensation services to small businesses, and has long been committed to the Florida market and our members, making this agreement an ideal fit.”
