Former Intercare president signs on with leading managed care company

Ramser, who spent the last seven years as President of Intercare Insurance Services, will work with PDI Chairwoman/CEO Betti J. A graduate of Pepperdine University with a degree in business and organizational effectiveness, Ramser is skilled in corporate management, strategic sales, large account management and capital investment. He has worked with many of the nation’s leading insurance brokerages and handled mergers and acquisitions for some of the largest claims and managed care companies in the industry.
Prior to his work at Intercare, Ramser served as a senior executive at Crawford & Company in Atlanta, where he directed sales, sales management and account retention, and marketing for the company’s claims and managed care divisions, which together accounted for $250 million in revenues for the firm.
