EMPLOYERS® Promotes David Morton to Vice President of Sales, Strategic Partnerships and Alliances

 RENO, Nev., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — EMPLOYERS® (NYSE:EIG) , America’s small business insurance specialist®, announced that David Morton has been promoted to vice president of sales, strategic partnerships and alliances. In his new role, Morton will focus on driving and measuring partner performance, ensuring strong communication and managing issue resolution with partners. Morton will lead his team of client relations managers and sales executives and will work closely with them to develop and implement strategies to manage and grow new business.
Morton joined EMPLOYERS in 2007 with a successful background in sales and marketing leadership roles for several payroll companies across the country. Prior to joining EMPLOYERS, Morton was a key member of a regional payroll company in Atlanta. He led the corporate marketing function providing branding, products, sales strategies and training across the organization. Morton’s strength in sales and marketing has been built over the years through his experience working for such respected companies as Intuit and ADP.

Morton earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from the Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. He is a certified payroll professional with the American Payroll Association and was selected for FASTPath, Intuit’s high-potential leadership program.
