Kids’ Chance of America and State Organizations Celebrate 2017 Awareness Week

Philadelphia, PA -(PRNewswire)- Kids’ Chance Awareness Week 2017 recently kicked off on Monday November 13, 2017, and continues through November 17. At Kids’ Chance of America, they believe in making a significant difference in the lives of children whose parent(s) have been severely or fatally injured on the job by helping them pursue and achieve their educational goals.

Collectively, Kids’ Chance organizations have awarded more than 6,000 scholarships across the country, totaling over $18,000,000. Over the past two years, while scholarship applications have increased significantly, we know there are more students in need of assistance. Kids’ Chance Awareness Week is designed to increase visibility and spread the word about Kids’ Chance scholarship opportunities across the workers’ compensation community and beyond.

There are currently 39 Kids’ Chance state organizations and seven additional in development. Kids’ Chance of America’s goal is to establish a Kids’ Chance presence in every state so that they can reach all eligible students. Find out if there’s a Kids’ Chance in your state.

The latest video showcases some of the dedicated volunteers, partners and leaders from across the country who make Kids’ Chance possible, and of course features the stories of some of their students.

Kids’ Chance welcomes you to join its community of supporters and help spread the word about the organization and its mission to support educating the children of injured workers. Together we can achieve our goal of More Money for More Kids!
