WorkCompRecap: System Study!

Today’s issue of WorkCompRecap features the release of a new edition of WCRI’s CompScope Benchmarks report, which examines the factors behind changing costs in state workers’ comp systems, including the impact of legislative and regulatory reform on those costs in 18 different states.

The study is based on more than 7.6 million claims, representing about 60% of workers’ compensation benefits paid in the country, and aims to assist stakeholders in benchmarking states’ systems’ performance or a company’s workers’ compensation program, providing a baseline for tracking the effectiveness of policy changes and identifying important trends.
