Robinson Assumes Expanded Role At Coventry Workers’ Comp Services

Franklin, TN – Coventry Workers’ Comp Services, Inc., a division of Coventry Health Care, Inc., strengthens its focus on delivering integrated clinical solutions announcing today that Betsy Robinson will expand her role in the organization as senior vice president of product development and marketing to include oversight for its nurse triage, telephonic and field based case management operations. Robinson is based in Philadelphia, PA.

Robinson joined Coventry a year ago with over 25 years of workers’ comp managed care experience. She has spent the past year launching a disciplined product development process while collaborating with her team to build a product roadmap that fully leverages Coventry’s broad clinical capabilities. During her prior tenure in the industry she provided strategic direction for the development of innovative and successful clinical programs for employers and payers. Her expertise in clinical program design and management was a key contributor to the decision.

In addition to case management operations, Robinson will also assume responsibility for local distribution of case management, independent medical examinations (IME) and DMEplus. She will continue to own the product development, information strategy and marketing functions within the overall organization.
