Michigan Workers’ Comp Agency Posts 2012 Maximum Rate and Weekly Benefit Tables

Michigan – The Bureau of Labor Market Information & Strategic Initiatives has reported the state average weekly wage as of June 30, 2011 to be $860.34.

In accordance with Section 418.355(2) of the Workers’ Disability Compensation Act, the 2012 maximum weekly benefit based on 90% of the state average weekly wage is $775.00. The 2012 Weekly Benefit Tables are now available on their website. The 2012 calculation program should be available shortly and will be promptly posted.
